We took this '54 Chevy steering wheel and reduced the rim down from 17" to 15.5". We dished the previously flat steering wheel by 3" and then pearl plasticised it in a custom silver blue to match the interior of the '51 Mercury.
The guys at South Austin Speed Shop in Texas made up a new horn ring to suit.
Wheel was commissioned by Jesse James for his '51 Mercury.
Thanks to John Joyo and crew for the photos.
