KENWORTH W900L "NIGHT STALKER"

Melbourne's Klos brothers , Justin and Turk of "Klos Kustom Trucks" know the value of a limited edition truck, their Kenworth '007 edition W900L is not only one of the country's coolest custom trucks, it is also one of just a handful of this model built to commemorate the James Bond film " Licence to Kill" which featured a similar looking rig in its action sequenses.

Much of the way that Justin and Turk build trucks for themselves and their customers at their workshop reflects an old - school style and nothing symbolises old- school trucking in Australia more than the Kenworth SAR variant. (short Australian right- hand drive )

They sent us a new aftermarket steering wheel to pearl in custom blue, giving it the perfect touch for the era of this truck.

1956 2 DOOR CHEVY 2-10

Des from Adelaide S.A enlisted the help of top craftsmen in their field to rebuild his previously blue & white 1956 Chevy.

Fitted with an under dash wiper motor, running on straight LPG there was no need for a fuel tank.

Final paint had a base orange with gold metal flake,looks awesome when the sun hits it.

We pearl plasticised the Holden Monaro steering wheel in dual colours to suit.

Des arranged the nifty centre Chevy engraved logo.

'40s Mack Army Truck Steering Wheel.

This wheel previously had a very hard life!, after multiple repairs--

It was restored to its former glory using a plasticised finish in a very subtle kahki marble .

As always, hoping to receive some photos of the Old girl and her "new" fitted steering wheel.

1928 Studebaker Director Royal Sedan--steering wheel

Just completed this derilect wheel.

The original dome screws had seized in the corroded wheel, requiring drilling out while avoiding damage to the alloy hub.

Keeping true to the era of the steering wheel, we handmade replacement domed and slotted screws that secure the hub to the wheel.

The black plasticised finish was in a semi gloss.

This wheel will soon be on its way home and we eagerly await some photos of the '28 Studebaker with its wheel in situ.

MIKES '57 OLDSMOBILE

Thanks to Mike Fehrenbach of Freiburg Germany for sharing these photos of his '57 Oldsmobile.We pearl plasticised the steering wheel for him in custom dual colours making a real feature of the wheel.

MEL'S MGY

Mel Fry from Melbourne has kindly emailed us some photos of his MGY saloon, taking part in a recent Australia Day event there in Melbourne.

Previously we had restored Mel's steering wheel, with the final finish being a subtle brown marble.

Thank you Mel, she looks magnificent!

MIKE'S 1938 CHEVROLET MASTER DELUXE

Mike O'Brien from S.A. sent us a skeleton steering wheel to be rebuilt and the final finish in ivory pearl.

Mike has lovingly restored his car from the ground up.

It has won several hotly contested "Super Chevy Sundays" there in South Australia.

A very happy new year everyone. At long last we are ready to launch our new web site. Sincere thanks to Nick Phillips in Melbourne for his amazing patience and ability to put all this together, not easy doing it long distance, anyway we are pretty happy with the streamlined revamp and hope you all find the site a little more user friendly.We will be keeping you updated with various restoration/ customising projects that come our way from all over the globe.As a starter, we recently received these photos in from Erik Hansen of Discovery Bay California, he and his Dad Paul are the owners of an amazing '52 Buick Riviera custom named "Resilience", builders were Tim Strange & his crew in Illinios. They sent us out a 1960 Oldsmobile wheel plus gear knob with colour samples to pearl plasticise in a subtle copper marble, it was a stunning look. Recently "resilience" was awarded the American 2009 777 top custom award.
